A new song "I don't wanna know"

I stopped by a small club in the Lower East Side Manhattan and was invited on stage.
The vibe was so intimate, I decided to perform a few songs I just wrote.
Here's one of them: "I don't wanna know"
Very ballady and smooth, a bit different from what you may have heard so far...

Dancing At Studio 54

Last week they re-opened the famous Studio 54 for just one night and I was there! Being inside that legendary place was like I really was back in the 70s, my fantasy come to life! We danced all night until they finally ended with Sinatra's"New York, New York"

I Came Back From The 70's...

Sometimes I think I was supposed to have been born in the '70s...the music from that time just comes so naturally to me, like I just KNOW it without even having to really learn it...here's a great example

Live at L'Orange Bleue 08/15/11

Another great night at L'Orange Bleue.
There's something about this place... Somehow it manages to always have a unique combination of the right people, the right vibe, the right mind set. And the more you give to us, the better we play...
It just feels right, and each time it reminds how music is magical.
Thank you for your support.

French Number One Rapper LA FOUINE was at my show last night!!!

What a great show at L'Orange Bleue last night.
I was blessed to share the stage with guitar master Ron Petrides and incredible percussionist KoKo Jones.

They KILLED IT!

The energy was so high, and the stars lined up perfectly: Raggae singer Tessa joined us for a freestyle and #1 French rapper LA FOUINE did a song, accompanying  himself with the guitar.

Adeline Michele in Okay Player!

Audio: AM Roots “Following My Heart” feat. Adeline Michele

As I get ready to close this laptop and start the weekend, I’ll leave y’all with the perfect song for whatever it is you’re about to get into. Clean the house, get black out drunk (me), dance ya ass off, it’ll work for all options. The song, “Following My Heart,” comes from Filipe Narciso and DJ Nunas (reppin Mozambique and Angola, respectively) aka production duo AM Roots. The silky voice you hear singing in Creole over the track is that of Adeline Michele (from The Crowd). The song has a strong zouk/dance element to it ( and is just the type of music you can find on Large Up or OkayAfrica). Adeline describes the song’s meaning as: “leaving the every day routine for a sunny place, making changes in your life in general and escaping from the negative.” The song has been out since the summer, but if you weren’t privy to it, you can listen below & buy it here.

Okay Player Features The Crowd

I recently got put on to a talented crew reppin’ Philly, the Bronx, and Paris, respectively, The Crowd. The trio consists of two emcees (Akil Dasan & Randy Mason) and a female vocalist (Adeline). All three members play an instrument, write, and co-produce all their music. Below, you can listen to two of their songs “Yeah” and “Music,” which both appeared on their ’09 Acoustic EP. Obviously, neither of these songs are new, but with the trio  getting ready to drop a new video as well as a new EP, now is a good time for y’all to get an introduction. You can purchase the Acoustic EP at CD Baby.

Escort at Highline Ballroom

" Disco-funk band Escort burned up the stage in a rare live performance at The Highline Ballroom in New York City with a fiery full band that included strings, a horn section, and backup singers. Lead singer Adeline Michele enchanted the crowd and inspired a decadent dance party with her sultry vocal stylings.
The glamor in the room reached dangerous levels by the end of the night. "
